Jason is the Owner and Founder of Jason's Functional Training Studio and JFTS Strength & Conditioning LTD both are located in Saint John, NB. He has been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and has obtained several certifications including PFC, PFT, RTL, NWS, ICL, a diploma in fitness & nutrition, and is a level 2 FMS Mobility expert which is the highest level. Jason is also an author and a motivational speaker.
Jason has mentored some of the best personal trainers in the world and his studio is currently the official strength and conditioning facility for the Saint John Riptides and Jason is also their strength & conditioning coach as well .
Jason continues to displayed his passion and drive in the fitness industry where he won the 2017 Atlantic Canadian Middleweight Bodybuilding Championship Title which was held in Moncton, NB .
Jason is also the 2018 Men's Masters Bodybuilding champion as well where he brought home a gold medal At the Flex Lewis Canadian classic Championship!
Jason is very giving and continues to help support his Community !
How I started my journey with Personal Training
In 2015 I decided living at 237lbs was NOT how I wanted to spend the rest of my life so I found a personal trainer. I had no idea how taking that step was going to change my life,
I was inspired almost immediately. Dropping 94 lbs and feeling great helped me learn a new passion, weight lifting!! Learning how each muscle reacts when its pushed to the limit, or how far your body can be pushed with each excercise watching people pushing themselves just that little bit harder and the feeling of achieving goals they've set is addicting!!
Getting certified in personal training so I can help others reach those goals they've set for themselves was such an easy step to make for me. Feeling first hand how exercise helps mental health along with physical help is what drives me to want to help others even more so. I want to make people feel like they are important, that they deserve to be here, that it is never to late to start taking care of yourself.
Heather passion for a healthy active lifestyle led her to the beginning of her Personal Training career in 2005. As an avid volleyball player and weight lifter Heather is not a stranger to training and understands what her clients actually “feel” during their own sessions.
She has actively been coaching a wide variety of clients and helping them reach their personal health and wellness goals.
As a life-long student Heather found that many clients were suffering from chronic pain. She began her studies in the realm of Trigger Point Therapy and has become certified in the William Huhn Method™ obtaining Level 2 and currently working towards her teaching level. It is through her studies of this therapy that has given her a better understanding of dysfunction in the human body and how best to treat pain so clients can remain active for life.
Over the last 15 years Heather has continued her education developing her skills as a trainer to best assist her clients to achieve an active yet balanced lifestyle.

Claude Boulanger, is 51Yrs old and works full time as a network tech for Bell. Since his sister bought his first weight bench when he was 14, he loved weight lifting. He was always in to individual type sports, mostly running and have always had an interest in fitness. It wasn’t until he was in his late 30’s that he really started to properly learn about fitness. he joined a group metabolic fitness class in 2008 and from there he found his niche. He took an online course and received his MRT certification in Aug. 2013 and started coaching as an alternate, filling in just when required. Soon after, he was coaching 2 sessions per day (in the mornings, before starting his full time job) and still filling in in the evenings when asked. I really enjoy helping people with functional movement to help them live their best lives!
